How to send us your text and photos

There are several ways to get your files to us. The only bad one is a messenger app — it crushes the photos and the quality never comes back.

The short rule

Send the originals. Not the version you downloaded back off Facebook. Not a screenshot of the photo. Not a phone picture of your screen.

We can shrink a big photo. We can't enlarge a small one.

Which method to use

Up to ~20 MB totalEmail attachments to contact@hostika-bg.comSimplest. Most mail servers reject above 20–25 MB.

If you send a share link, set it so anyone with the link can view. Otherwise we get an "access request" prompt and we're waiting on your approval.

Why not over Viber, WhatsApp or Messenger

Those apps compress photos automatically — a 4 MB photo arrives as 200 KB. On a phone screen it looks fine. Stretched across a wide section of a website it looks smeared, and there's no fix except sending us the file again another way.

If you've already sent everything over Viber — resend the photos using one of the methods in the table. Text over Viber is completely fine.

Photos — what we want

  • Format: .jpg, .png, .heic (from an iPhone), .webp — all fine. We convert.
  • Size: bigger is better. Rule of thumb: at least 2000 pixels on the long edge. A normal phone photo is around 3000–4000 — perfect.
  • Where from: straight out of your phone's gallery or the camera's folder. On iPhone, pick "Actual Size" when it asks during sharing.
  • Don't send: screenshots, watermarked images from someone else's site, pictures from Google Images. That last one is someone else's property and can cost you money.

Logo — what we want

In order of preference:

  1. .svg, .ai, .eps or .pdf — vector. Stays sharp at any size. If you paid a designer, they have this file. Ask for it.
  2. .png with a transparent background, at least 1000 pixels wide.
  3. Whatever you have.

If you have a brand guide or a file with your company colours — send it. It saves us guessing.

Text — what we want

Word, Google Docs, a plain email, even a photo of a printout. Doesn't matter.

One thing helps more than anything else: tell us which text belongs to which page. A file called About us.docx is more useful than document (3).docx.

If you have an old site, don't retype the copy by hand. Give us the link and say "take it from there, only the prices are out of date".

File names

Not required, but it helps: logo.svg, team-photo-1.jpg, pricing-2026.docx. Cyrillic in filenames is completely fine.

What we do with your material

We keep it for the duration of the project and then store it alongside your site's backup. We don't use it for anything else and we don't give it to anyone. If you want it deleted after launch — say so and we delete it.

Credentials (old hosting passwords, site admin logins) are a separate case: we delete those as soon as we're finished, without being asked.

If you have nothing

Call us. Twenty minutes on the phone is usually enough for us to write the first version for you. Correcting text that already exists is much easier than producing it from scratch.
